Public Reading of Scripture

Listening to Scripture is a timeless practice—people from Moses to Jesus built it into their lives. It invites us to pause, tune out distractions, and humbly hear God’s voice.

PRS is the simple exercise of listening to the Bible in community. No homework. No reading aloud. No lectures. Just listening to the word of God and letting Him speak for Himself. Jesus quoted Deuteronomy 8:3 when He said, "Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes out of the mouth of God" (Matthew 4:4). Nourish your souls in Hope@Home community on Tuesday mornings 10:30-11:00 a.m. EST and/or Thursday evenings 8:30-9:00 p.m. EST. Each day we will hear a dramatized recording of a different Psalm, Old Testament (Tanakh) passage, and New Testament passage. Whether you’ve never opened a Bible or you read it every day, all are welcome and can benefit from PRS.
